Who We Are
Indian National Indira Gandhi Kisan Mazdoor Congress was founded by the famous farmer labor leader of Haryana Chaudhary Ramji Lal ji on 18 January 1980 as a social organization in association with Haryana's strong leader and former Union Minister Chaudhary Chand Ram ji. Chaudhary Ramji Lalji became the first President of the organization and former Union Minister Chaudhary Chand Ram Ji was made the National General Secretary of the organization.
Many former ministers, MPs, former MLAs and big leaders of different states participated in the central executive of the organization. Chaudhary Ramjilal ji and under the banner of Indian National Indira Gandhi Kisan Mazdoor Congress fighting for the interests of farmers and laborers throughout the country. It was fought under the leadership of Chaudhary Chandram ji and farmers and agricultural laborers from all over the country took part in this movement for the rights of agricultural laborers.
During the movement, farmers and laborers were killed in New Delhi and Mrs. Indira Gandhi, who was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the then India, called Chaudhary Ramjilal ji and Chaudhary Chand Ram ji for talks and all the efforts of the farmers and agricultural laborers. Accepting the demands, the government land lying vacant in the country was given ownership rights as promised by the previous government.
After which there was a lot of sympathy and affection for Mrs. Indira Gandhi among the farmers and laborers of the country, after that there were movements of farmers and laborers in different states in which the Indian National Indira Gandhi Kisan Mazdoor Congress played a big role. In 1998, at the age of 80, the great farmer and labor leader Chaudhary Ramji Lal ji died, after which former Union Minister Chaudhary Chand Ram ji was made the national president of the organization.
He also agitated all over the country for the interests of farmers and laborers and fought a long battle for their rights, but due to old age and ill health, Chaudhary Chandram also passed away in 15 June 2015 after completing his worldly journey. After that, the Indian National Indira Gandhi Kisan Mazdoor Congress, which fought for the interests of the poor laborers and farmers, also became silent due to lack of leadership, but on 18 January 2020, this strong organization fighting for the interests of the room classes of the country again took off
And the strong Congress leader Mr. Sajjan Singh Narwana, who belongs to Narwana city of Jind district of Haryana, was made the national president of the organization. Started doing the newly appointed National President, Shri Sajjan Singh Narwana, while expanding his executive, started organizing farmers and workers' leaders from all over the country.
